I came across Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) as a participant in 2018, it supported me through a period of huge stress in my life – marriage separation, alongside stepping up and leading a newly formed team and agenda in a fast-based business. I found the techniques I learnt reduced my anxiety, built my resilience and enabled me to cope with the stress. What I hadn’t anticipated, was the positive impact it had on my broader relationships, my approach at work and really how it meaningfully touched every aspect of my life. I felt more present, more compassionate and more self-aware. The benefits were so striking, as was the evidence base, that I wanted to be able to offer it to others…. Which is where I am today.
