Creating space for wellbeing and human connection
Creating space for wellbeing and human connection
I believe that true space comes from within.
For many years, I lived very unconsciously, disconnected from how I truly felt, how I behaved and what I needed or wanted from life, relationships, career; everything. When my marriage broke down in 2018, I turned to mindfulness to help me cope. I felt ashamed, heartbroken and completely anxious about the future.
I began to practice mindfulness in my day to day (not cross-legged on a mat in tie-dye – much more informal than that), I’d practice while I was walking the dog, sat in a stressful meeting at work, before I went to sleep – simple yet powerful mental training, supported by guided weekly sessions, that would help me be more aware of what was going on in my mind and body, and how I was keeping myself stuck.
It benefitted every aspect of my life- my relationships got stronger, I was more successful in my career, and it helped me to cope with other stressful life events along the way – without them taking such a grip. I could calm anxious mental loops and live feeling more at ease, having greater clarity to trust in myself.
I found the benefits so powerful, I trained to become a mindfulness practitioner, to share the benefits I felt so deeply, with others.
Now combining this with my professional expertise in Wellbeing Strategy, DEI, Leadership and Personal Development in large, global businesses; I now help individuals and workplaces to create space – passing on the powerful tools that can help free minds and unlock potential.
